Hi Tim,
We are all set at 6:00 PM PT for the update. I wanted to pass on the additional feedback I received from Automate regarding the buffer pool.
"If by 'internal tools' you're referring to our Server Diagnostic Utility, do not go off of that. Go off the document I sent and feedback given from the server. Hypothetically, If your total memory usage on the server is 95%, and it's not associated with anything else, then the buffer pool should be lowered. Ultimately, you want to make sure the OS has 5 GB free in case anything happens. You do not want the server paging the disk."
Specifically, you're looking for innodb\_buffer\_pool\_size.
Based on Automate's feedback above I calculated :
54,975,791,104 as the entry.
This is based on 64GB of RAM.
When looking at the my.ini file I see this value is already set to this value. Maybe it was set to something else previously?
