Yep, transferring via ltshare and writing the script I can usually take care of. But I'm unsure what steps would go into the script to get those updates done, what installers are needed, etc.

I will email support from now on.

For the scripts, I have figured this out before for things like CrowdStrike by putting an exe into the transfer folder on LT Share, then running a modified copy of an existing install script which is the route I’d probably try if I had to figure this out on my own. I was asked to email you to see if you can help us to save me the time of figuring out the scripts for these two things.

Please resend to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) to generate a ticket. No need to copy tim@ as that will just give me an additional email.

Automate has a third party patching tool, but that doesn't include powershell or node.js. If you have specific apps you'd like to update, we need to create a script to deploy and run the installer.

Hi we need to push out an update for systems still using Powershell 7 and I’m not sure how to go about this with Automate, can you help?

Is there also a way to update node.js from Automate or do we have to push it out manually?

In general, is there a way to do these types of 3rdparty software updates simply or is it all custom scripting on a case by case basis.
